Spanish Night, I hear, was enjoyed by most. Most of the board members and volunteers did not really know since we were mostly in the kitchen cranking out paella, tapas, and sangria. Apparently such a good job was apparently done that someone asked for the business card of the caterer! Our volunteers even acted like real waiters – especially Daniel and Leti! Eventually we had time to mingle and share the LAPS vision for our guests to capture and embrace. The outpouring of support was amazing and we are so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing community of supporters and friends. Babies will be blessed with the gift of life by their love and generosity.
It was a successful evening with about 60 guests! One big step closer to getting ultrasound services at LAPS. Thank the Lord!!
Earlier that day, at LAPS, our volunteer counselor, Gema, and our full-time counselor, Marina were working overtime with a record NINE BABIES SAVED at LAPS in one day. One client was carrying twins! All the women that came to LAPS on Saturday had gotten up that day with the intent to have an abortion.
